A Date With Destiny

I spent most of the 1980's traveling across North America living the life of a hobo. This was my own choice to see the United States from the open door of a boxcar. I don’t consider myself to have been a bum, because I worked everywhere I went. I saw an ugly side of America most of the world never sees. Many of those I traveled with were veterans from the Vietnam War. What was shocking was some of these men were once high-ranking officers. I met lieutenants, a few captains and even a major. These men could not live a normal life after the atrocities they had witnessed. I wanted to write about stories they told me when they decided to talk about them, which was not very often. I personally witnessed some unbelievable things. You do not always have to see an angel to feel their presence. Read "Why Me Lord" by Wayne Bryant and feel their presence also.http://www.waynebryant.net
